The level built-in was a big help when mounting. I love the tilting action. It is not a slim flush mount but does allow for greater tilt because of that. The only problem I had with the unit is that is states it is for a 26" to a 50" HDTV. Well yea it will fit but if you have a 32" TV like I do, you are going to see the top of the mounting arms about 3 inches above the top of the TV. Mount the large bracket to the wall and lift tv to wall bracket. The other reviews are correct the built in level is way off, I used 24" level, perfectly level but factory bubble level was not even close.
