Within 1 week it recorded 3 men trying to enter my home. I yelled "you're being recorded" and they ran. The DVR itself works great. The color picture from the cameras are fantastic and vivid. Night vision is fine, but better if you have a motion light outside. You can't go wrong if you want protection. ...more

Camera quality is well below what you get from an inexpensive camcorder; poor color and contrast; limited use at night.
